Religious Right Christian Taliban Blaming Secularism For Sandyhook Massacre To Pushing Extremist Anti-Abortion Laws

Who hates Jesus? It isn't the so-called new atheists like Richard Dawkins. It's the Christian leaders bent on taking Christianity down with them into their private hell of stupidity. With friends like these Jesus needs no enemies. The re-crucifixion of Jesus by his "followers" continues.

… Enter the God Squad. These are the dim-witted troglodytes whom you could have easily predicted would crawl out of their caves spewing the usual disgusting, vile-filled claptrap about how this is all somehow “God’s punishment”, and how they know God’s feelings on the matter! Here’s just a sample of the putrid idiocy pouring forth from the fundamentalist faithful…

Westboro Fred Phelps Church may appear more radical than other Christian Evangelical groups but they are just more crude in their delivery of their message.

Other Evangelical leaders such James Dobson , Bryan Fischer also blame America's supposedly Godless culture for the Massacre at SandyHook Elementary school.

Evangelicals blame Mass killing at Sandyhook on the absence of God in public schools.
While the majority of Americans due to this latest mass murder are concerned over other issues such as gun Control and Mental Health issues.

The Religious Right Republicans extremist Are Still A Force to Contend With in 2013 as Republicans controlling state legislatures in America.

Rachel Maddow comments on Governor McDonnell (transvaginal ultrasound) of Virgina who has passed an extremist anti-abortion law which will shut down most abortion clinics in the state .

As Maddow points out that during 2012 most of the similar extremist anti-abortion legislation offered by various states last year were withdrawn .

Maddow discusses the issue with Terry O'Neill president of National Organization For Women who argues that not a single aspect of men 's is controlled by legislatures so why should there be such regulations and legislation on women's health .

As Frank Schaeffer who once was involved as one of the major organizers and propagandists along with his father Dr. Francis Schaeffer in the early years of the American Religious Right in the 1970s to 1980s til he could no longer support their extremist agenda attacks evangelical leaders calling them "religious idiots" linking Secularism and Separation of Church and State and the banning of prayer in the schools to the massacre in Sandyhook Elementary school.

It is somewhat ghoulish and insensitive to use an incident of a massacre of 20 children to push a supposedly religious agenda blaming the killings on America's godless culture which promotes violence but they refuse to discuss the issues of gun control or mental illness as contributing to this massacre .

All that was needed to make the national tragedy of the killing of 20 children and 6 adults into an anti-God kick in Jesus' teeth fest was for the usual suspects who hate Jesus to step up to defame His Name again. Of course I'm talking about the "Christian" leaders who can be counted on to drag the name of Christ through the mud at every profitable fundraising importunity.
Christian leaders say that the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut was the result of our national falling away from fundamentalist Protestant gullibility. The idiots -- religious village idiots that is -- are at it again.
I thought Dobson was dead but I guess not. He's just retired. He's still alive enough to act like the zombie-for-Jesus'-younger-dumber-brother he is.(I went on his show 3 times back in the day when I too was part of the religious idiots club.)
Bryan Fischer, the American Family Association hate host talk-show host, and Franklin-sell-my-soul-to-the-Mormos-because -I-hate-Obama-so-much-Graham (of course), the president and CEO of the tax-exempt Billy Graham Evangelistic Association was not to be outdone. Dobson commented while speaking to listeners of his Dr. James Dobson's Family Talk program:
...I think we have turned our back on the scripture and on God almighty and I think he has allowed [this Newtown massacre] judgment to fall upon us. I think that's what's going on.”
Bryan Fischer of the American family Association said the victims at Sandy Hook had lost God’s protection because prayer has been prohibited from schools. Franklin Graham wrote a "response" to the Newtown Massacre and did not mention the word gun. more or less blamed the media and president Obama in a round about way. Graham -- who has called President Obama a Muslim and not Christian at times .
"Parents and children are feeding on entertainment that portrays violence whether through lewd television programs, violent movies, offensive music, vulgar video games and anything- goes Internet gaming sites.” "

So what are we to make of this reaction on the part of the ultra-religious to the Sandy Hook massacre? As I’ve noted before, the fundamentalist right-wing segment of our nation is starting to slowly dwindle, and there is a more secular demographic rising in this country. I think part of what we may be seeing here is the gradual, but inevitable, unhinging of the religious right as they start to see their power over the rest of us who don’t share their twisted worldview slowly slipping away.

They cannot handle the fact that their worldview isn’t THE worldview which is forced upon the rest of society through the power of the culture and the government, and that is making them nuts. I predict more of the same in the future: every time there is a hurricane, earthquake, or other natural disaster; every time there is a man-made disaster (such as the Sandy Hook massacre); every time anything bad happens, these self-described servants of the Almighty (who, of course, have the message straight from God himself, you know) will scurry in front of the TV cameras to spread their message of doom and judgement in a vain attempt to appear relevant.

And as time goes on, they will get ever more extreme with their message, as they marginalize themselves even more. And that’s the key thing right there… what these preachers, prophets, and fundamentalist believers really fear is exactly what’s happening to them: they are slipping into irrelevance.

Let them, I say, because civilized society has no need for their sociopathic mythologies.

In an article at Christianity Today the writer points out how Evangelicals in America diverge from the opinons and feelings of most Americans . While Americans in general are discussing mental health issues and gun control the Evangelicals are lamenting that the mass murder is just another indication that America has abandoned God and is therefore being punished by Mass Killings and natural disasters.

In Sandy Hook Debate over Gun Control vs. Mental Health, Evangelicals Diverge from Rest of Nation Survey examines best ways to prevent mass shootings; evangelicals favor third option. by Jeremy Weber at Christianity Today , December 19, 2012
As nationwide mourning over last week's massacre of 20 first graders at Sandy Hook Elementary gives way to debate over how to prevent future tragedies, two main subjects have emerged: better gun control vs. better treatment of mental illness. Both sides have vocal advocates. And a recent survey of attitudes toward gun control suggests where evangelicals, Catholics, and other religious groups stand on the issue.
In August, Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) and Religion News Service (RNS) surveyed more than 1,000 Americans regarding their attitude toward gun control. One question of interest: What do you think is the most important thing that could be done to prevent mass shootings from occurring in the United States? Only 8 percent of white evangelical Protestants said "stricter gun control laws and enforcement" are the most important solution, whereas 19 percent said "better mental health screening and support."
A plurality (36%) chose a third option: "Put more emphasis on God and morality in school and society." Meanwhile, a plurality (41%) of minority Christians favor focusing on gun control, whereas 20 percent favor focusing on mental health. Only 14 percent favor focusing on God and morality. By comparison, 27 percent of all Americans favor focusing on gun control, 22 percent favor focusing on mental health, and 20 percent favor focusing on God and morality. Catholics and the unaffiliated favor focusing on gun control, whereas mainline Protestants favor focusing on mental health. The complete breakdown of responses, courtesy of PRRI, is as follows:

 and so it goes,
GORD.
