Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei Issues Fatwa Forbidding Building or Posessing Nuclear Weapons

Fox News war mongering -Fox and the GOP and hawkish democrats prefer war with Iran rather than diplomacy and negotiations. Much of this war fever is comparable to that before USA attacked Iraq.
So no matter what the reality Fox News and much of the Mainstream Media are gung-ho for another major war in order to prove America is the only true superpower and need not play by the old quaint rules.

So the USA has become in essence the new Soviet Union out to conquer and or destroy any nation it sees as standing in its way to defend its ever-growing empire . Now they are claiming that even claiming to have the ability to attack  US bases in the Middle East  provides justification for an all out war with Iran and the Islamic world .

For whatever reason Fox News and the Mainstream Media have concocted a narrative in which since the revolution in Iran in 1979 Iran has been America's worst enemy which is not at all true no matter what rhetoric may come out of Iran by way of its leaders who are often just playing to their home base.  Iran did not have anything to do with Bin Laden or Al Qaeda and they may have been responsible for about 4% of the killings in Iraq and most likely as individual actors not sanctioned by the state. It was not Iran that invaded Iraq but Saddam of Iraq invaded and continued an eight long year war with Iran.  Saddam at that time before he invaded Kuwait was America's proxy in the Middle East and was supplied with money and arms by the USA to continue the disastrous war with Iran.

Iran: "We Can Destroy US Bases in Minutes & Israel Is A Good Target Too"

- Elite Revolutionary Guard published on Jul 4, 2012 by YouCruising1

TEHRAN (FNA)- Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said that the IRGC has detailed contingency plans to hit 35 US bases in the region in the early minutes of a possible conflict.

"We have thought of measures to set up bases and deploy missiles to destroy all these bases in the early minutes after an attack," Hajizadeh said on Wednesday, referring to Iran's contingency plans for any potential confrontation with the US.

He said that the US has 35 bases around Iran, and stated, "All these bases are within the reach of our missiles. Meantime, the occupied (Palestinian) lands (Israel) are good targets for us as well."

Another reason we can now be more sceptical about the American /Obama Regime 's anti-Iranian propaganda which depicts  Iran as some sort of half-crazed irrational rogue state which they claim is in the process of developing nuclear weapons since the Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Khamenei has issued a Fatwa against the production and /or possession of a nuclear weapon. This means under Islamic laws and principles the building or posession of a nuclear weapon is forbidden.

Too bad Christian and Jewish leaders don't  have the guts o the courage or be principled enough to condemn posession and the use of atomic weapons . In fact it seems that Christian religious leaders are more interested in appeasing the state and political leaders when it comes to a number of issues including Nuclear Weapons or the use of other Weapons of Mass Destruction .

Too bad for instance that leaders in the Christian Church such as the pope or Archbishop of Canterbury or Evangelical Christian leaders refuse to take a principled stand and therefore threaten any who promote or who engage in the building of atomic weapons and those who advocate their use be excomunicated instead they get more worked up about the use of birth control or about Gay Marriage and insisting as the Catholic Church does that its priest be celibate even though the various sexual scandals of the last thirty years show that not all priests are cut out for celibacy .

Imagine the Catholic Church and the Church of England and various protestant churches including Evangelicals condemning outright the building , possession or use of Atomic Weapons instead when they can they invent theological arguments to defend the indefensible and so blather on about Just War and the butchering of all Non-Christians or expressing their belief that an all out Nuclear War would be a good thing since it would mean the Second Coming of Jesus is near and the End-Times and Judgement Day.

And in their twisted view the sooner the better. For many Christians the very idea of working towards a more peaceful world is a form of heresy and hubris to believe humankind in its Fallen State could on its own accomplish such a state of affairs since they believe only God's intervention could accomplish such a goal.

Ayatollah Khamenei Iran's Supreme Leader issues a Fatwa,, declaring possession of a nuclear weapon to be "a sin"...".* A Fatwa is usually taken seriously by Muslims and is similar to an edict from the Papacy & Vatican. Though a Fatawa may be limited to those under the guidance of a particular Ayotollah or limited to Shia or Sunni as the Popes edict is limited to Catholic Christians and has no weight for other Christians. But a Fatwa issued by the supreme leader in Iran which is in part a theocracy would apply at the very least to all Shia Muslims in Iran and especially to those in positions of authority who are able to act upon the specific Fatwa in this case agreeing not to build atomic weapons . To do otherwise would make one a sinner who would not upon their death be blessed by Allah to be received into Paradise. In the earthly realm one who broke such a Fatwa would be severly punished by execution .

And therefore as being unIslamic . During the Iraq Iran war the Ayatollah Khomenie issued a Fatwa agains the use of gas or biological weapons or other Weapons of Mass Detruction at a time in which the Iraqis were using such weapons on Iran's troops so this was not a purely theoritical or philosophical debate. This is where such theological or philosophical and ethical debates imposes a different set on rules or moral and ethical principles on matters of human activity.

Iran's Supreme Leader: Nuclear Weapons 'A Sin'

Via McClatchy: "Iran's chief negotiator, Saeed Jalili, took center stage after the day of talks, appearing at a post-conference press briefing under a banner headlined, in English, "Nuclear energy for all, nuclear weapons for none." He referred to the banner — which also had the pictures of five Iranian nuclear scientists who were assassinated, presumably at Israeli behest — and also reaffirmed the fatwa or order by Ayatollah Khamenei, Iran's Supreme Leader, declaring possession of a nuclear weapon to be "a sin"...".* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

War With Iran A Terrible Idea - Here's Why

"Should Israel decide to launch a strike on Iran, its pilots would have to fly more than 1,000 miles across unfriendly airspace, refuel in the air en route, fight off Iran's air defenses, attack multiple underground sites simultaneously — and use at least 100 planes. That is the assessment of American defense officials and military analysts close to the Pentagon, who say that an Israeli attack meant to set back Iran's nuclear program would be a huge and highly complex operation...".* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down, including the over-hyped nuclear capability of Iran and why it would be a bad idea for the US to get involved in another war.
