Last night on Countdown, Keith Olbermann previewed the much-anticipated Murdoch hearings in front of Parliament (which he's covering live right now on Current TV from 9:15 until noon EST—watch it online here). Speaking with Countdown contributor John Dean, former Nixon White House Counsel (touche), the interesting speculation was how Murdoch would hold up in an atmosphere where he is required to answer to someone. Meanwhile, if today goes badly, Bloomberg reports News Corp is considering naming COO Chase Carey as his successor. Watch:
