Song for Julian Assange -Our Hero -
Sting & The Chieftains -MO GHILE MEAR ( originally meant for Bonnie Prince Charlie)

UPDATE: JULIAN ASSANGE incarcerated while court decides on his extradition to Sweden
Sweden wants to put him on trial for trumped up CIA inspired allegations of Sex Crimes.
What bloody hypocrisy.
Karl Rove, Dick Cheney,Donald Rumsfeld , George W. Bush, Condoleeza Rice, Alberto Gonzales, Tony Blair and his thugs took the US and Britain etc. into an unnecessary war -a war of Aggression in Iraq.

There they murdered some 1 million Iraqis, destroyed village, towns and cities broke various International Laws .

These thugs abused, renditioned, tortured thousands and they of course get away with it because Obama wants to still play nice.

Or is Obama just protecting his own ass as it were because he has also committed War Crimes and Crimes against Humanity.

So it is OK to drop cluster bombs on wedding parties in Pakistan or Afghanistan to slaughter whole villages but what's worse is someone who dares tell the public about these shameful brutal barbaric crimes.

Once again the world's elites circle the wagons to condemn anyone who dares to enlighten the public about the elites hypocrisy, and their belief that the rule of law doesn't apply to them.

This is just what our old friend Doug Coe of the fanatical Christian Cult "The Family " believes.

They also believe that we little people have no right to judge or question their actions.

So what next an old Soviet/ Chinese style Show Trial.
And as for most of the Mainstream Media they are in the tank to protect these elites whom they see as their equals.

Now the real DEMONIZATION OF Julian Assange begins . What is sad is that the Western Nations have shown how little toleration they have for public's right freedom of Information .

So various news agencies are ordering their reporters NOT to use the term "Whisleblower" in referring to Julian Assange since they have already tried and found Assange guilty of sex crimes and seditious and treasonous actions.
So much for Freedom of Speech or Freedom of the Press.

If Obama had any real sense of JUSTICE or Human Decency he would speak up and defend Assange while at the same time issuing warrants for those responsible for War Crimes and Crimes against humanity.
Another question is whether the so called "progressives" and "liberals" will take a stand against this witch hunt and new round of McCarthyism .

It appears that in an age of perpetual war the public at large are to give up one freedom or right after another .

Wikileaks Arrest: Julian Assange In Custody, Court Battle Underway via Huffington Post , Dec.7, 2010

LONDON (AP) -- A British judge has denied bail for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who told a London court he intends to fight his extradition to Sweden on sex crime allegations.

Judge Howard Riddle told Assange that he had "substantial grounds" to believe the 39-year-old Australian wouldn't turn up for subsequent proceedings. He then put Assange into U.K. custody ahead of an extradition hearing.

Assange faces allegations of sex crimes in Sweden. He denies the accusations

News Outlets Kill 'Whistle-Blower' Monicker

Both the AP and NBC News, among others, are no longer referring to Julian Assange and WikiLeaks as "whistle-blowers." According to the Cutline, AP spokesman Paul Colford reports, "We've had 'whistleblower' in some copy but have decided not to use it any longer."

NBC News is also on the record as no longer using the term, as is Reuters. Erin Kurtz, Reuters' spokeswoman, was quoted by Cutline as saying, "Our style guidelines ask that reporters not describe WikiLeaks as a whistle-blower."

Julian Assange and the Thermonuclear Insurance

This is it! Fresh new from http://leakmirror.wikileaks.org/file/straw-glass-and-bottle/insurance.aes256 !
Downloaded it on a 100mbit line to all of you. ENJOY! Pirate Bay

Yes it appears Julian Assange has what he considers an insurance policy if he is incarcerated or killed . His insurance is another massive dump of thousands of classified documents which have not been heavily edited or redacted. Thousand of sites he claims now have these documents but they are encrypted and need a key to open them. The key will be released in the event of anything happening to him or others involved with wikileaks.

Massive Release of Raw WikiLeaks Files Threatened if Assange Harmed
by Theunis Bates via Commondreams.org, Dec. 6, 2010

Julian Assange's lawyer has warned that supporters of the WikiLeaks founder will unleash a "thermonuclear device" of government files containing the names of spies, sources and informants if he's killed or brought to trial.

One of the women accusing him of sexual misconduct is connected to anti-Castro terrorist Posada who has the dubious honor of being the first terrorist to blowup a passenger plane . But hey the US government protected him for decades. The thing of it is the US government has little problem with terrorists tactics used against Communists or whoever the US is at war with. A bit of a double-standard. So in other word pro-capitalist terrorists are the good guys when on America's side.

Revealed: Assange ‘rape’ accuser linked to notorious CIA operative By David Edwards
Monday, December 6th, 2010

One of the women that is accusing WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange of sex crimes appears to have worked with a group that has connections to the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

James D. Catlin, a lawyer who recently represented Assange, said the sex assault investigation into the WikiLeaks founder is based on claims he didn't use condoms during sex with two Swedish women.

Swedish prosecutors told AOL News last week that Assange was not wanted for rape as has been reported, but for something called "sex by surprise" or "unexpected sex."

One accuser, Anna Ardin, may have "ties to the US-financed anti-Castro and anti-communist groups," according to Israel Shamir and Paul Bennett, writing for CounterPunch.

While in Cuba, Ardin worked with the Las damas de blanco (the Ladies in White), a feminist anti-Castro group.

Professor Michael Seltzer pointed out that the group is led by Carlos Alberto Montaner who is reportedly connected to the CIA.

Shamir and Bennett also describe Ardin as a "leftist" who "published her anti-Castro diatribes (see here and here) in the Swedish-language publication Revista de Asignaturas Cubanas put out by Misceláneas de Cuba."

Shamir and Bennett noted that Las damas de blanco is partially funded by the US government and also counts Luis Posada Carriles as a supporter.

A declassified 1976 document (.pdf) revealed Posada to be a CIA agent. He has been convicted of terrorist attacks that killed hundreds of people.

US claims that their conduct in the War on Terror is more civilized more humane and moral in its wars in Iraq and Afghanistan compared to the enemy. Well not so much.
It seems they are all for creating as many casualties including civilians as possible by their use of Custer Bombs . Ah yes so much for "Smart Bombs".

Besides the use of renditions, torture, massacres, giving support to Shia Death Squads , destroying non-military targets we can add its use of phosphorus on civilians and of course Cluster Bombs . Cluster Bomb are meant to create as many casualties as possible they are an anti-personnel explosiive meant to mame or kill .

U.S Angry That Afghans banned Cluster Bombs by justin Elliott ,Dec. 6, 2010

Here's another WikiLeaked cable that offers an unfiltered look at a little-discussed aspect of American foreign policy: the Bush-era State Department panicked in 2008 after Afghanistan unexpectedly signed an international treaty banning cluster bombs, with the U.S. fearing that the military could no longer store and use the controversial weapons in Afghanistan.

The December 2008 cable followed an international summit at which Afghanistan and over 90 other countries -- not including the U.S. -- signed the Convention on Cluster Munitions (CCM), which ban the use of bombs that scatter so-called bomblets over a wide area. Some of the bomblets typically do not explode, creating a deadly hazard for civilians that can last for many years.

Because the treaty prohibits not only the use of cluster bombs, but also the storage of the munitions, the State Department was worried about the fate of the American store of the bombs in Afghanistan. So Washington sent a note to the embassy in Kabul to pressure the Afghan government on this point:

The U.S. Government believes Article 21 of the Convention provides the flexibility for signatories to continue to cooperate and conduct operations with U.S. forces, and in turn for U.S. forces to store, transfer, and use U.S. cluster munitions in the territory of a State Party. The Department requests that Post approach appropriate interlocutors at the Afghan Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense to urge Kabul to interpret Article 21 in a similar manner, minimizing any potential impact of Afghanistan,s signature of the Convention on U.S. operations and military cooperation. Given the political sensitivities in Afghanistan surrounding cluster munitions as well as air and artillery strikes in general, the Department believes that a low-profile approach will be the best way to ensure a common understanding that the CCM does not impede military planning and operations between our two governments.
