Ann Coulter Says Racist Slurs & Sterotypes Are Just Facts Meanwhile Republicans & Conservatives Rhetoric Getting Down Right Ugly

And more Ann Coulter Comedian or dangerous Ideologue who is stirring up more hate, resentment, racism and bigotry and fear of Big Government

Example of right wing blog and its response to Coulter Canadain affair-click to enlarge to read- note prominence of guns and women and references to their Saint Ronald Reagan who they see as the founder of the current Conservative Movement in the USA. Also note there is plenty of T Shirts posters, bumper stickers videos and audio tapes and books all for sale -Hate Speech in America is a growing concern in more ways than one.

Coulter defended the war in Iraq and chastised Democrats for "demoralizing America."

"The war was a magnificent success," she said. "We're a few years into the rebuilding."

She also criticized the media for being liberal and Democrats for whining about their rights under the First Amendment.

"They're always accusing us of repressing their speech," she said. "I say let's do it. Let's repress them."

She later added, "Frankly, I'm not a big fan of the First Amendment."

Here's Ann Coulter being interviewed by Far right Bill O'Reilly -what's funny about this is that Ann Coulter manages to make Bill O'Reilly look completely reasonable. Even he knows some things its best left unsaid . But of course this is her schtick to be outrageous and inflammatory-this is after all her bread and butter. She always has an excuse of some sort prepared in case someone calls her out on one her insensitive or down right vile and vicious statements-she say she was just joking or being taken out of context -if you still have doubts read one of her books .
Godless for instance is just one big fat conspiracy theory blaming liberals and progressives for everything bad and so since their ideology is UnAmerican or Anti-American they shouldn't be in positions of authority-she would like to begin a witchhunt for liberals. Her "conspiracy Theories are as daft as those regarding the non-existent "Illuminatae" or "Masons" or "New World Order"

But Coulter like Glenn Beck also borrows from the Nazi Propaganda Book aka Talking Points especially in reference to the Anti-Semitic belief in the "Jewish Conspiracy" . For two thousand years the Christians preached against the Jews and Judaism calling them "a nest of vipers" . But they didn't just preach against the Jewish people they were not classified as citizens and so they had no rights. In most European cities the Jews were kept in Ghettoes were walled and the gates were often kept shut til dawn.

Besides the Ghettoization there were pogroms, massacres, the Inquisition, the Crusades & the Reconquista in Andalusia or being expelled from various countries such as England .

-The Catholic Church and the Protestant Churches preached against the Jews and Judaism claiming they were guilty of killing Jesus, Deicide and that the guilt passed from one generation to the next. So Christians had every right to hate and mistreat Jews since they were God Killers and that they are in league with the Devil Synagogues of Satan as Martin Luther called Judaism .

So when Ann Coulter or Glenn Beck are going on about immigrants or Muslims or liberals just replace the word liberal with the word "Jews"- Some of it sounds like it is right out the Anti-Semitic forgery "The Protocols of the Eleders of Zion" which if anything is either sickening or so bizarre its laugh out loud funny til one remembers what horrors it lead to and it was written by The Christian Tzar of Russia Secret police circa 1905.

In an article at the blog Anti-Racist Canada the author takes a quick look at Coulter's rise to fame or to be infamous and what may have been her game plan for a career making loads of money while actually doing very little.

Ann Coulter. Whatever. at Anti-Racist Canada: The ARC Collective March 25, 2010

Ms. Coulter decided the best way to gain a significant fan base was to write and say the most outrageous, shocking, intolerant, ignorant, insulting rhetoric she could think of. And it has worked, and continues to work, beautifully.

Coulter has been wildly successful by appealing to the ugliest parts of her fan base's intellect and emotion. This approach has made her an embarrassment to mainstream conservatives (she's been fired as a columnist for a number of conservative publications), but her admirers eat it up. She's made millions on books with simple titles (simple titles for simple minds perhaps): Treason. Godless. Slander. Guilty. All in an effort to manipulate the base emotions of her mostly male readers (right down to the slinky, formfitting dresses she models on the covers) who already are inclined to believe that Democrats, liberals and progressives are not people with whom they have they fundamentally disagree with on a variety of issues, but as a cancer in the body politic that needs to be destroyed with extreme prejudice. She's helped contribute to a polarized political environment in her own country in which civil discourse is not only rejected, but stomped into the mud.

And she's laughing all the way to the bank because she's managed to fool the rubes who really think she believes what she writes and says.

...Now in Calgary, Ms. Coulter isn't above continuing to use the cancellation of the event in Ottawa to create controversy and, thus, more publicity to put bums in the seats and people buying her books. Now she's clumsily attempts to use regional tensions to further her efforts:

"It's quite a country you have here," Coulter told Evan Solomon, host of Power & Politics, on CBC News Network on Thursday. "I'm more determined than ever to turn pretty much from Calgary through the west into the 51st state now. We got to save the good Canadians."

"Save us from what, Ann?" Solomon asked.

"From the crazy liberals. From the crybabies," Coulter answered, sporting sunglasses. "How did Canada go from being the country that sends us all our best comedians to a bunch of whining, crying babies that can't take a joke?"

The far right is now the totality of the right and of the Republican Party in the USA. So Ann Coulter believing she is doing Canadians a service has been gracing our so she says not so free country with divine presence. Ann Coulter is somewhat of a celebrity and treated like royalty in the world of Neoconservatives and the Religious Right composed mainly by Evangelical Fundamentalist Christians. They have little use for democracy except as a way to get more power & control to dismantle their national government ecxept for the Department of Defense because they do believe in the Straussian sense that a nation needs an enemy which can be demonized as an ever present danger.
(Leo Strauss see Shadia Drury On Leo Strauss )

The American conservatives are using the opportunity to bash and run-down Canada as a second rate nation which as Coulter has said that Canada is lucky that America just conquers our weak nation. So here's a sample of conservative bloggers coming to Ann Coulter's defense from the rightwing racist anti-Muslims anti-Islam Faux Arab/Muslim blog "the Winds Of Jihad" Like Ann Coulter these bloggers have learned from her that by dressing up their prejudices, their demonizing all liberals and progressives as a fifth column to their racism, their homophobia, their hatred of Islam and all Muslims and their desire to re-ignite The Crusades so they can wipe Islam out or reduce it to a shadow of its former self. But bigotry and racism are still what they are no matter how its packaged . It's like torture is torture no matter how you dress it up as "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques" or conquering and occupying a sovereign nation is still a War Crime and a Crime Against Humanity.

In fear of Ann Coulter, of course.

What did you think? Canada is the model for the coming Australian Yuman Rites Charter, a place where François Houle, Provost of the University of Ottawa, wrote preemptively to Ann Coulter, that Canadians enjoy only the right to government-regulated “free speech” and that therefore she may be liable to criminal prosecution before she arrived to offend:

Tea Party Targets Harry Reid: Thousands Expected At Rally In Nevada On Saturday by Jeremy Binkes at huffington Post ,March26, 2010

Searchlight, Nev. is a town with a population of 800 and the hometown of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. But on Saturday, the sleepy town's population is expected to explode.

The Tea Party Express will kick off its 2010 tour (the "Just Vote Them Out! Tour") in Searchlight.

The first stop -- the "Showdown in Searchlight" -- will target Reid and Democrats who voted for the health care reform bill and will feature an appearance by Sarah Palin, who is stumping for Sen. John McCain on Friday.

The bus will make a total of 44 stops as it winds its way across the country before finishing in Washington, D.C. on tax day -- April 15.

Right-Wing Terrorism Stoked by Conservative Leaders Again by Bob Cesca at Huffington Post , march 24, 2010

During the Bush years, members of the far-right would often suggest that liberals were "with the terrorists" if we merely opposed the invasion and occupation of Iraq, or if we opposed the policies of the Republican leadership at the time. In fact, any negative criticism of the president whatsoever was considered unpatriotic "while troops were in harm's way." That was the line we heard almost daily throughout the previous decade: don't undermine the commander-in-chief while troops were deployed in battle. Just don't. Or Sean Hannity will crush you with his mighty hairline!

But in general, there was this idea among Republicans that liberals were somehow emboldening the terrorists anytime we suggested that it might be a bad idea to eavesdrop on American telecommunications, or that it might be a bad idea to torture detainees, or that it might be a bad idea to invade Iran after having already invaded Iraq and Afghanistan to varying degrees of failure. Either we were with the administration, or we were with the terrorists.

Call for Americans to lock and load and take the law into their own hands???

A major nativist group known for its armed border patrols is disbanding. Hatewatch SPLC March 26, 2010

In a Monday E-mail to supporters, Minuteman Civil Defense Corps President Carmen Mercer said the MCDC will no longer exist as an organization, though she encouraged supporters to continue its work independently. “I predict Americans, on their own, will lock, load and do what the feckless cowards in Washington refuse to do — and frankly I hope Americans do take up arms to defend this great nation,” she wrote in the “urgent alert.”

MCDC is an offshoot of the Minuteman Project, a month-long civilian border patrol that was covered extensively by journalists five years ago. (Then-President George W. Bush called the Minutemen “vigilantes” in March 2005.) In 2009, MCDC had at least 74 chapters in nearly 30 states, making it the biggest of the Minuteman spin-off groups. But MCDC and the larger Minuteman movement have been plagued by infighting, allegations of financial impropriety and civil litigation. In addition, the leader of Minuteman American Defense (MAD) was charged with the May 2009 murder of a 9-year-old Latina girl and her father during a home invasion in Arivaca, Ariz., setting off furious accusations and counter-accusations over who had supported MAD’s Shawna Forde over the years.

Fox News, health care, and the right-wing nervous breakdown by Eric Boehlert at Media Matters March 23, 2010

Watching Fox News personalities recently come unglued as the realization set in that (surprise!) Democrats might actually have the votes to pass health care reform -- and noting how extraordinarily loopy and dire both the attacks on the White House, and the proclamations for pending, apocalyptic doom were becoming -- I was getting nervous that one of Fox News' more unhinged hosts might finally just snap and pull a Rev. Jim Jones, beseeching viewers to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Honestly, unless you've been monitoring the ticking time bomb that is the far-right media in recent days, you probably don't appreciate how frighteningly possible that cultish scenario has become, as the GOP Noise Machine, led by Fox News, publicly suffers a nervous breakdown. It's a mental and emotional collapse that's been advertised in recent days as cablers, radio talkers, and right-wing bloggers have reached for increasingly hysterical, often blood-curdling rhetoric to describe the irreversible atrocity -- an incurable, metastasizing malignancy!! -- that's about to seize and destroy the United States in the form of a bill to expand health care coverage.

Listening to the calamitous warnings (i.e. "the end of America as we know it"), it's not that unreasonable to think that at some point one of the media mob leaders is going to suggest that life itself just is no longer worth living.

After all, late last week the nation stood on the precipice, just three "days away from the United States of America being over as we've all known it," according to Rush Limbaugh, who warned that reform would drive every private insurance company out of business. Glenn Beck also went full tilt, warning that the bill represented a "turning point," like the Civil War and Peal Harbor, while colleague Sean Hannity pinpointed the health care vote as the "very hour" that America turned "completely towards socialism."

The Washington Times likened reform to the "Black Plague," and the online reaction was somehow even more unhinged. It was "RIP USA," because with the vote, America would become "occupied by a hostile foreign power." Indeed, a "socialist putsch" had been sprung and "America's Day of Wreckoning [sic]" was at hand. Why? Because the Democrats' health care legislation "will make every American a POW, strip them of their Freedoms and Liberty and shove them in a meat cellar for cold storage."

Not scared yet? Well, just keep in mind that "Fascist healthcare will destroy America," "civil unrest is coming," and President Obama is to blame. More? "Fascist House Democrats are preparing to euthanize America." And don't forget that Sunday's health care vote in Congress represented a "dark day for America, the worst since 9/11."

And, progressive politicians, heed this warning: "Democrats who crammed this unwarranted bill down the throats of the American people who clearly and overwhelmingly opposed it deserve to be drawn and quartered."

and so it goes,
GORD.
