GodTUbe & Charlie Daniels -Tribulation

Here's a little ditty to make your hair stand on end or just creep you out from GodTube.com to be more precise GodTube: Broadcast Him :

Charlie Daniels -Tribulation

You'll notice how Charlie Daniels revels in the idea of chaos, confusion , war, famine ,diseases of all sorts & the worse things get the more sure he & other True Christians can count on Jesus' return ... so if someone attempts to solve all of the problems of the human race they then are going against God- the only Peacemaker is Jesus & anyone else who brings about world peace is the anti-Christ - therefore George W. Bush is on the side of God & the Angels - even a disaster like Katrina was in fact a message from God & so why would Bush try to help those people in New Orleans who were being punished & or tested by God-no wonder Bush & the inefficient & corrupt FEMA are not helping tens of thousands of New Orleaners even now after two years to return to their city since they have been judged by God & were found wanting - Others claim it is all part of improving the City of New Orleans by keeping more of the poor of New Orleans in FEMA style detention camps or relocation camps -

- so the madness of the Neocons & Radical Religious Right continues as they prepare to Nuke Iran & maybe start World War Three - just fulfilling prophecy they would argue - as for protecting the Environment they believe this is just all nonsense since God will provide ,at least , that is for the True Believers-

Here's an excerpt from an article in The Guardian dealing with GodTube - where the rightwing Christians surf Tim Dowling The Guardian Monday April 30 2007

Imagine for a moment a parallel universe where everything looks familiar, but where everyone is a rightwing fundamentalist Christian and Darwinism is widely seen as a crackpot fairytale. Well, now you can visit such a world any time you want: GodTube, Christianity's answer to the heathen YouTube, is a clearing house for Christian music videos, user-generated sermons, evangelical short films and anti-evolution cranks. One of the most popular videos is an excruciating four-part parody of those Mac v PC adverts - Christ-follower v Christian; another features a preacher with a microphone berating a street performer dressed as Gene Simmons from Kiss. A clip titled They Day They Kicked God Out of the Schools characterises the recent spate of US campus killings as God's revenge for outlawing school prayer. Elsewhere, an old man delivers a boring lecture about why the Earth really isn't 4.5bn years old after all.
As we see according to the latest report numerous animal & plant species are in danger of extinction - though this news is disturbing to many people to the Born Again Christian this is just more Good News :

Stark warning of extinction list: 'Life on Earth is disappearing'
By Michael McCarthy, Environment Editor
13 September 2007

Gorillas, vultures, corals, Asian crocodiles and even seaweeds are joining thousands of other species on the slide towards extinction, according to the latest edition of the Red List, the international catalogue of threatened wildlife, published yesterday.

In the past 12 months there have been nearly 200 to the list, which is published by the Swiss-based International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), taking the number of threatened species worldwide from 16,118 to 16,306.

This means that one in four of the world's mammals, one in eight birds, one third of all amphibians and 70 per cent of the world's assessed plants on the current list are in now in jeopardy. "Life on Earth is disappearing fast and will continue to do so unless urgent action is taken," the IUCN said yesterday.

The Red List is recognised as the most reliable evaluation of the conservation status of the world's species. It classifies them according to their extinction risk, through the categories extinct, critically endangered, endangered and vulnerable. Once an organism is classified as critically endangered, extinction is very close.

take care,
GORD.
