What is really interesting to me is that Tony Benn draws a parallel between the invasion & occupation of Iraq with the German bombing of London during WWII .
And to go further this intrepid writer would add - besides weren't the Germans also trying to export an ideology which they believed to be superior to all others & didn't they also believe they were doing God's work or the work which was a result of the principles of Natural Law.
Member of audience who is an Iraqi tries to give John Bolton a " reality check " & history lesson on Saddam's regime & American Complicity but Bolton just returns to his Neocon Spin & talking points & rehashes Neocon propaganda about Saddam - he forgets to add that the WMDS Saddam once had were mainly supplied to him by the USA - & that the USA was not concerned at the time of the mass murder of Kurds by Saddam because at the time Saddam was America's friend & ally .
